The N-terminus of influenza A virus M1 protein (N165) was expressed in the E coli system and purified by the combination of Ni-affinity column and other conventional chromatographic methods. The resulted protein contains 171 amino acids with a 6His tag at the N-terminus. It migrates in SDS-PAGE with an apparent molecular mass
of 18kDa.
