The recombinant GST-FXR (Farnesoid X-activated receptor) was
expressed in E coli and purified by the combination of glutathione
Sepharose affinity column and other conventional chromatographic
methods. The resulted protein contains 702 amino acids with a GST
tag at the N-terminus. It migrates in SDS-PAGE with an apparent
molecular mass of 81kDa.
