Recombinant human p300 (Creb-Binding Protein/CBP) was expressed in Sf21 cells and purified by an affinity column in combination of other chromatograph methods. The resulted protein is a monomeric polypeptide of 2422 (10+2412) amino acids with a Flag tag at the N-terminus. It migrates in SDS-PAGE with an apparent molecular mass of 250kDa.
